Lexus of Stevens Creek Facilities Maintenance Technician
Join us as a full‑time Facilities Maintenance Technician at Lexus of Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the dealership is clean, orderly, and welcoming. This position requires minimal experience and is ideal for organized, hardworking individuals who will learn on the job.
Pay Scale: Base hourly rate $22.00 – $26.00 per hour.
Location: 100% on‑site at Lexus of Stevens Creek, San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the property clean by sweeping and pressure washing the sidewalk and surrounding area of the dealership.
- Ensure trash/recycle bins are ready for pickup by moving them to and from designated locations.
- Perform minor landscaping and use a leaf blower around the facilities.
- Assist the janitorial staff with cleaning public areas, setting up the guest lounge, maintaining restrooms, etc.
- Operate floor scrubbers in various locations.
- Troubleshoot downed/failing equipment throughout the dealership.
- Perform minor maintenance (e.g., replacing lights, plumbing, painting).
- Conduct weekly/monthly inspections of eye wash stations, first aid kits, etc.
- Set up, arrange, and remove treatments, tables, chairs, and ladders to prepare facilities for events.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or with hand trucks, as needed.
- Ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Fulfill incoming facility requests from managers and team members in all departments.
- Assist in all other areas of the dealership as needed.
- Maintain high ethical standards and a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (desired).
- Previous maintenance experience or related field (desired).
- Ability to determine causes of operating errors in a facility and decide what to do about it.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and এ্য maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
- Read and comprehend instructions in English and communicate effectively with the public.
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with arms and/or legs geometry, stoop kidneys, crouch, or crawl.
- Must work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces.
- Adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Move in tight and confined spaces.
- Remain stationary, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
