Our client, semiconductor manufacturing operations is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting semiconductor production in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a hands‑on, self‑motivated work style, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership to improve equipment performance and uptime.

What's the Job?- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment by identifying root causes of failures to restore performance quickly and safely.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule and established procedures (MMM) to support consistent tool availability.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and equipment performance in tracking systems to support quality and continuous improvement.
- Collect and record operational data as required to help teams monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership to improve KPIs, increase tool uptime and availability, reduce PM cycle times, and reduce wafer scrap.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, including vacuum, photolithography (photo), or wet/plating technologies.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Solid understanding of failure analysis and root cause problem-solving to prevent repeat issues.
- Working knowledge of control systems and/or PLCs to support equipment diagnostics and repairs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and tracking systems, along with strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Work in a high-impact role supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment performance, quality, and uptime.
