As Assistant General Manager
, you'll partner closely with the General Manager to drive success across sales, service, and team culture
. This role goes beyond daily operations, you will energize the team, engage the community, and cultivate an environment where every client feels supported and motivated
.

• Lead by example: close memberships and coach your team on high-impact sales strategies
• Manage and maximize revenue streams including memberships, private sessions, teacher training, and retail
• Analyze performance metrics to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly goals

• Recruit, hire, and onboard Sales Associates and Instructors who reflect our culture and values
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to foster engagement and accountability
• Oversee staff scheduling to ensure optimal studio coverage and peak performance

• Drive local marketing efforts both online and offline, including social media strategy and community partnerships
• Represent Club Pilates at local wellness events and collaborations to increase brand visibility and trust
• Serve as an ambassador for our studio values within the San Jose fitness and wellness community

• Oversee daily studio operations to maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment
• Ensure all systems, software, and inventory management are maintained at the highest standards
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges swiftly

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality with proven sales leadership
• A strong record of driving revenue growth, leading teams, and achieving ambitious goals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy (experience with Club Ready or similar platforms is a plus)
• Passion for health, wellness, and fitness (Pilates enthusiasm is a bonus!)
