Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate:
Depends upon experience

Overtime Pay Rate: 1.50 times (Overtime begins after 8.00 hours per day)

Company Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator/Handler to join our team in San Jose, CA. This is a 3-6-month contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting material management in the warehouse, Incoming Quality Control (IQC), and production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform part kits for manufacturing assemblers for use in the daily assembly of instruments.

Stock warehouse areas with parts received after incoming inspection, maintaining inventory locations in a neat and orderly fashion.

Perform data entry into the inventory control system, including daily incoming and outgoing stock changes.

Assist in inventory tracking and physical inventory (cycle counts) as scheduled, reporting discrepancies between physical counts and the inventory system.

Assist with shipping and receiving of material, both domestic and international.

Collaborate with appropriate teams to resolve issues such as missing paperwork/count discrepancies, determine when to use offsite storage, and raise concerns regarding damaged material in stock or shortages on work orders.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Requirements:

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Proficient in using office software and ERP tools (Netsuite experience preferred)

Experience with receiving goods in a warehouse environment

Experience in kitting materials, managing incoming and outgoing parts to ensure inventory accuracy

Highly detail-oriented with a strong understanding of Quality/Safety/Continuous Improvement

Good organizational and self-management skills

Excellent communication skills
