Operations Manager – Precision Laser Manufacturing

Our engineering-driven approach supports customers from early development through full-scale production.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily manufacturing operations and support continued growth.
What You’ll Do- Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple laser-based and secondary processes
- Oversee production scheduling, labor planning, and capacity utilization to meet delivery and quality targets
- Manage and develop production supervisors, leads, and operators
- Drive operational KPIs including throughput, yield, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions and production ramp-ups
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulated industry expectations
- Oversee equipment performance, preventive maintenance, and process reliability
- Support capital equipment planning and facility efficiency improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of operations or manufacturing leadership experience
- Background in precision manufacturing, laser processing, medical, electronics, or regulated industries preferred
- Strong people leadership skills with a hands‑on management style
- Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and process optimization
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Work with advanced laser technologies
- Be part of a technically driven, customer‑focused manufacturing team
- Influence operations from prototype through full-scale production
