Operations Manager – Precision Laser Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily manufacturing operations and support continued growth.

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple laser-based and secondary processes
• Oversee production scheduling, labor planning, and capacity utilization to meet delivery and quality targets
• Manage and develop production supervisors, leads, and operators
• Drive operational KPIs including throughput, yield, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions and production ramp-ups
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulated industry expectations
• Oversee equipment performance, preventive maintenance, and process reliability
• Support capital equipment planning and facility efficiency improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of operations or manufacturing leadership experience
• Background in precision manufacturing, laser processing, medical, electronics, or regulated industries preferred
• Strong people leadership skills with a hands‑on management style
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and process optimization
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
