The purpose of this role is to monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies using Automatic Optical (AOI) and/or X‑ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability.

• Monitoring SMT products at defined stations using AOI or 5DX equipment.
• Identifying components, including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement, and solderability.
• Reporting findings to appropriate personnel and recording them on applicable documentation.
• Performing other responsibilities as needed.

• 2-4 years of experience as an AOI Inspector.
• Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment.
• Working knowledge of the IPC workmanship guidelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to do a lot of standing and walking and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Availability for overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solder certified and experience in electronics or contract manufacturing.
• Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred.

Salary Range (annual): $43,680 - $49,920 ($21 - $24 / hour)
