DES Operator; Day Shift

Job Purpose

Assist in the DES department by setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

The candidate will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. The candidate will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks, checks and inspections of operation against predetermined tolerances. The candidate will run the develop, etch and strip line, monitor the process and complete all checklists and paperwork, and log jobs on the Oracle system.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 0-1 year experience in PCB industry preferred
• Job requires long periods of standing up to 80%.
• Must be able to follow instructions and learn new processes.
• Must be able to work with machinery and around chemicals.
• Must have good attention to detail and quality.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as dictated by business necessity.
• Must have good verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to enter information in computer system.
