We are seeking a Physical Security
Systems Engineer 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
This position plays a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise-level physical security and IT systems. The Physical Security Systems Engineer 2 role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, hands-on system integration experience, and the ability to lead tasks independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:

• Consult with clients to identify their specific needs and challenges and match them with suitable product solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing product features and benefits.
• Develop customized solutions for clients by tailoring product offerings to meet their specific requirements.
• Craft detailed proposals that outline the proposed solution, pricing, and implementation plan.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing post-sale support, and addressing technical concerns.
• Develop and execute market surveys, lab evaluations, proof of concepts, and pilots of various physical security technologies.
• Assists with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
• Participates in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle
• Generates alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions
• Participates in establishing and gaining approval for requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc., that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers
• Defines the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan
• Develops system design solution that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis
