Sensors Assembly Technician
Sensors Assembly Technician performs precision manual assembly of methane sensor modules, including soldering, small-component handling, and multi-step assembly following detailed written procedures. Works alongside senior technicians and engineers in a growing manufacturing line.
Required Qualifications- Prior soldering experience (through-hole and/or SMD)
- Good manual dexterity — comfortable assembling small, delicate components
- Good vision (corrected vision acceptable) — work involves fine detail and small parts
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable following detailed, multi-step written procedures precisely and consistently
- Experience working with shop tools (bandsaw, drill press)
- Experience handling small electronic components / PCBs
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable operating test station software/hardware)
- Prior experience in a cleanroom, ESD-controlled, or similarly controlled manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods during assembly work
- Repetitive fine-motor tasks (soldering, small-part handling) for extended periods
- Lifting up to 20 lbs as needed
- Manufacturing lab setting, ESD-controlled flooring
- Growing team — processes and procedures are actively being documented and refined; adaptability is valuable
Compensations Range:
The expected base salary range for this position is between $28.75 - $43.17. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.
In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable)
