Role Description The PCBA Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA. This role oversees day-to-day printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) operations, including planning production schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. The supervisor coordinates with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues, implement process improvements, and support new product introductions.

Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring production team members, ensuring adherence to safety and ESD procedures, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining accurate production documentation. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, participating in audits, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in PCBA manufacturing operations, including experience with SMT, wave solder, and assembly processes.
• Skills in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization within a high-mix, high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Knowledge of quality standards and tools (e.g., IPC standards, ISO procedures, SPC, root cause analysis, corrective actions).
• Competence with manufacturing documentation and systems, such as work instructions, BOMs, MES/ERP tools, and basic data reporting.
• Understanding of ESD controls, equipment maintenance practices, and standard safety regulations in electronics manufacturing.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with customers when required.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in an electronics or PCBA environment preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience considered.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Jose, CA and flex schedules to meet production
• TPS/Lean Manufacturing Experience is a plus
