Sr Production Planner (Finance)
As a Sr. Production Planner here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in supporting and improving the supply chain planning and execution process within the business reporting directly to our Materials Mgmt Manager in the San Jose location. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a valid master schedule for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand to meet customer requirements.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of production planning activities, ensuring that master production schedules are executable and aligned with business goals to optimize inventory levels and resource utilization.
Responsibilities- Fulfill demand requirements by examining Material Requirements Planning (MRP) indications
- Communicate material availability to procurement and ensure that need dates are met to release production orders
- Maintain configuration and serial control of production hardware
- Ensures the generation of pick lists, packing slips, and other shipping document as required
- Flag and communicate production problems
- Responsible for requesting Customer Source Inspection (CSI) of hardware shipments
- Assure that planning data items are properly maintained in SAP, and are compatible with applicable program plans and schedules
- Support production programs by working with the program managers and production leads
- Collaborate in team meetings and activities
- Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in a manufacturing environment
- MRP
Experience:
SAP experience preferred. - This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with Supply Chain concepts such as Purchasing, Logistics, etc
- Intermediate Computer skills including Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
- Advanced to Expert level in Excel and Power Point.
- Electronic or Aerospace manufacturing industry experience.
- Knowledge of FAR or recent experience supporting a government contractor environment
The annual base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
