Qualification and Skills
- Perform surface mount and through soldering, desoldering and component replacement on printed circuit boards with soldering iron or bench top reflow equipment
- Perform solder re-ball on BGA packages
- Safety and ESD Compliance
- Follow proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Run basic electrical tests on components and devices
- Occasionally pick up and deliver items to local laboratories
Salary Range $30-$35/hour
Key Responsibilities- Hand Soldering and Rework

- Run basic electrical tests on components and devices
- Occasionally pick up and deliver items to local laboratories
- Experience
- 1 to 3+ years in electronics assembly and repair and operate electrical testing and measurement meters
- Dexterity
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for handling, assembling, and reworking electronic circuits and components with and without a microscope
- Education
- High school diploma
- Technical certification or an Associate degree in Electronics Technology is a strong plus
