Responsibilities- Configure and calibrate CNC machinery to achieve peak operational performance and precision.
- Execute complex machining tasks based on technical drawings to deliver high-tolerance parts.
- Perform ongoing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to guarantee dimensional accuracy.
- Proactively troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to optimize production workflows and improve manufacturing output.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and organization to support a productive environment.
- Utilize various hand tools and production equipment to fabricate custom fixtures and components.
- Proven experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and performing shop-related mathematical calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate production machinery and hand tools.
- Formal technical training or certification in CNC operations.
- Experience working with a diverse range of industrial materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
