Overview
Midtown Family Services provides support for low-income individuals/families living in San Jose and surrounding communities in two program areas: financial counseling and navigation services for low-income, working members of the community with basic needs; and reentry support for individuals returning to the community after incarceration in state prison.
Volunteer OpportunityVolunteer to Pick-Up Donated Groceries from Second Harvest and neighborhood grocers and bring them to our office/distribution center on Winchester Blvd.
Responsibilities- Pick up donated groceries on weekday mornings
- Transport to Midtown Family Services distribution center on Winchester Blvd
- Any weekday available
- Valid driving record (clean driving record)
- Own a van or pickup truck is a huge help; otherwise you can drive our van
- Have insurance on your vehicle and be willing to complete a liability waiver
