Travel Nurse RN – Outpatient Clinic
Location: Tarzana, CA
Agency: Rose International
Pay: $2,385 per week
Shift: Days – 5 days × 8 hours
Contract Duration: 1 week
Start Date: 7/6/2026
- Prepares examination and treatment areas with necessary supplies and equipment for patient visits
- Performs patient intake, including vital signs, health histories, medication reconciliation, and documentation in the medical record
- Assesses patient conditions, identifies concerns, and communicates findings to providers in a timely manner
- Assists with in-office procedures and treatments while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Administers medications, injections, and vaccinations in accordance with provider orders and scope of practice
- Provides patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Coordinates care by scheduling tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments as needed
- Responds to patient phone calls, messages, and inquiries, offering clinical guidance and triage when appropriate
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system
- Ensures exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards
- Collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to optimize clinic workflow and patient experience
- Adheres to all organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards
- Performs additional duties within scope of practice as assigned
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and accurately document in electronic health records
- Basic computer skills for charting, scheduling, and communication
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients as needed throughout the shift
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
- Manual dexterity for performing clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, and basic procedures
- Ability to work both independently and under supervision while maintaining professionalism
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills necessary for safe patient care
- BLS certification required
