Job Summary:

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups within an acute care emergency setting, supervising and directing nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines and applying critical thinking and independent judgment.

Essential Functions:

• Collect and analyze patient data to determine care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Provide education and health information.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate responsibilities and manage team duties.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care ER experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required.
• Certification:
  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS-BLS/RQIBLS) – Required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/HS-ACLS/RQIACLS) – Required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS/HS-PALS/RQIPALS) – Required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required.
• No more than 30 days gap in complete work history.
• One reference within the last 12 months.
• SSN and DOB required at application.
