Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: Part-time or full-time
Compensation: $90 per hour

Prodigy Psychiatric Group is seeking a compassionate PMHNP to join our outpatient mental health practice. You will work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, and administrative staff to provide thoughtful, coordinated care to children, adolescents, and adults within your training and clinical scope.

What you’ll do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Monitor treatment response, side effects, and patient safety.
• Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate with therapists and other members of the care team, including referrals for services such as ADHD testing and TMS when appropriate.
• Respond to clinical concerns and arrange a higher level of care when needed.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license and Nurse Practitioner certification.
• PMHNP board certification.
• Current California furnishing number and DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to care.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred. Experience treating children or adolescents is a plus.
