Overview
San Jose Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join Thrive Pet Healthcare. You’ll get to know the family and care for the pet year after year, from delivering reliable care to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong. The hospital focuses on pet wellness, sick exams, vaccinations, and compassionate care with high medical standards.
Responsibilities- Provide high-standard medical care for small animals.
- Perform surgeries with excellence as part of the medical team.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain client communication and educate pet owners on wellness and treatment options.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the hiring state prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
San Jose Animal Hospital is a small animal practice focusing on pet wellness, sick exams, vaccinations, and more. The hospital emphasizes a fair, transparent approach with clients and advocates for pets. The team provides a family-like environment with collaboration and high standards of medical excellence. The hospital operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, serving San Jose, Berryessa, Japan Town, Downtown, Alameda, City of Milpitas.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $140,000/year. The actual salary offered will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
