Position Summary:
This role involves assisting in inventory management, supporting the implementation and maintenance of the QC Plan, managing QC/QA projects, and supporting technical staff.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Developing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation based on engineering knowledge.
- Planning and directing activities related to quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
- Designing sampling procedures and creating forms for data recording and reporting.
- Establishing programs to evaluate the accuracy of equipment and testing methods.
- Developing procedures for handling discrepant materials and assessing costs and responsibilities.
- Managing workers involved in measuring and testing products and compiling quality data.
- Creating training materials and conducting training sessions on quality control.
- Managing quality control programs as needed.
- Overseeing inventory management.
- Selecting techniques to maintain or improve process quality.
- Monitoring and controlling quality while considering effectiveness, cost, and productivity.
- Applying expertise during all project phases to ensure quality standards and profitability.
- Evaluating safety, compliance, and profitability, proposing alternatives as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
- Traveling as required for meetings, site visits, and training.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Physical Demands:
- Travel required for training and meetings
- Ability to sit or stand for entire shifts
- Occasional stooping, bending, walking, crouching, climbing
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, understanding)
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
