Position Summary:

This role involves assisting in inventory management, supporting the implementation and maintenance of the QC Plan, managing QC/QA projects, and supporting technical staff.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Developing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation based on engineering knowledge.
• Planning and directing activities related to quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
• Designing sampling procedures and creating forms for data recording and reporting.
• Establishing programs to evaluate the accuracy of equipment and testing methods.
• Developing procedures for handling discrepant materials and assessing costs and responsibilities.
• Managing workers involved in measuring and testing products and compiling quality data.
• Creating training materials and conducting training sessions on quality control.
• Managing quality control programs as needed.
• Overseeing inventory management.
• Selecting techniques to maintain or improve process quality.
• Monitoring and controlling quality while considering effectiveness, cost, and productivity.
• Applying expertise during all project phases to ensure quality standards and profitability.
• Evaluating safety, compliance, and profitability, proposing alternatives as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
• Traveling as required for meetings, site visits, and training.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Occasional stooping, bending, walking, crouching, climbing
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, understanding)

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
