Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This individual contributor will be responsible for data collection and reporting related to quality assurance for installers, end consumers, and suppliers within the renewable energy ecosystem of Duracell Power Center products. The role also entails maintaining product certifications, assisting with customer audits, and managing corrective actions.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be dedicated to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Duracell Power Center ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Duracell Corporate to gather data and insights for continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and performance.

  • Analyze data collected from direct customers (installers and end consumers) to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Supplier Monitoring and Control
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and monitor their performance.
  • Coordinate supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements and develop action plans for corrective measures as needed.
Certification and Compliance Management
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining product certifications relevant to the renewable energy sector, ensuring compliance with mandated standards and regulations.
  • Support internal and external customer audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and reporting insights.
  • Manage the installer certification program.
Corrective Actions Management
  • Lead the investigation of quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, facilitating root cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
  • Track the progress of corrective action plans and ensure effective implementation across affected areas.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality reports and documentation related to product performance, supplier evaluations, and audit findings.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management, contributing to strategic decision-making processes for quality enhancement.
Qualifications Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably within the renewable energy or related industry.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to renewable energy products and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
