PROCEPT Bio Robotics is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s AQUABEAM® Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy, is the first FDA‑cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real‑time, multi‑dimensional imaging, automated robotics and heat‑free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue.

Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size or surgeon experience.

The Senior Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring nonconforming product in all products and materials are processed per QMS procedures.

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, equipment tools, and products using appropriate tools, gauges, and documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards for inspection criteria.
• Use measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Record and report inspection results accurately in quality databases or ERP systems.
• Initiate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCMRs) for deviations and coordinate with the QA team for disposition.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Supplier Quality to resolve material quality issues.
• Maintain inspection documentation and ensure traceability of materials.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior inspectors and help in training new team members.
• Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT Bio Robotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
• Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT Bio Robotics Quality and EHS policies.
