Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Achievement Engineering Corp. (Achieveng) is hiring a Full‑Time Laboratory Supervisor in San Jose, CA.

Candidates for this position must possess the following certifications:

• American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification
• ACI Laboratory Aggregate Testing Technician Level I
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• A valid and clean Class C Driver License, issued by the State of California DMV
• Caltrans Testing Method (CTM) Certifications in Soils Aggregate and Asphalt

Highly desirable certifications:

• Any NICET Lab Testing Certification
• ACI Laboratory Aggregate Testing Technician Level II
• Nuclear Gauge Safety Training

Additional qualifications:

• Available in or near San Jose, CA, or willing to relocate
• Ability to keep records and prepare reports
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and grab samples
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including in‑person, telephone, and email
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Willingness to learn and apply specific provisions of applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations mandated by relevant jurisdictions
• Ability to perform all laboratory testing duties, follow testing standards, promptly report outcomes, and maintain a tidy and organized laboratory area with the technician team
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with company personnel and clients alike
• Manage the lab schedule and flow in coordination with the main office lab engineer

Job Type: Full‑Time

Pay: $35-45 per hour
