SummaryThis position, Customer quality and facility project coordinator, manages first article (FAI) processes, customer quality trackers, and customer compliance requirements with key Semiconductor OEM customers and internal stakeholders. It also coordinates Silicon Valley Innovation Center (SVIC) facility requirements and projects with external suppliers and the landlord.
Responsibilities- Manage the first article process with key Semiconductor OEM customers and coordinate internally to ensure all information and reports are available from stakeholders; organize data submission for timely completion according to customer requirements.
- Organize and track customer quality metrics.
- Track and follow through with internal stakeholders to complete all customer compliance requirements and deadlines.
- Serve as the Pfeiffer representative for SVIC facility maintenance, repairs, and projects with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the landlord to ensure smooth execution within budget, requirements, and timeline.
- Travel should be minimum (less than 5%), but occasional visits to vendors or corporate meetings may be required.
Tasks require walking, sitting, bending, reaching, mobility, frequent lifting and pushing/pulling. Work requires computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and data-entry), attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks are essential.
Position Requirements General Qualifications- Very strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication with coworkers, customers, vendors, and other personnel in a professional manner.
- Ability to accurately input, manipulate, and access information using moderately complex computer programs;
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent). - Ability to work with others to share knowledge of processes and procedures to continuously improve.
- High school diploma with >8 years of similar work experience in engineering/manufacturing, or an associate degree in Business Administration, social science, or a technical field with >4 years of relevant experience.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining discipline; able to solve practical and complex problems and balance various factors.
Tools and EquipmentNone.
Work EnvironmentThis position may work in office, warehouse, and laboratory settings. Approximately 85% inside (climate-controlled office) and 15% in laboratory, warehouse, or during travel; lifting up to 50 lbs. Eye and hearing protection may be required in manufacturing areas, and additional PPE may be required visiting customer sites.
