Quality Inspector (JN - San Jose, California
Salary: USD
35 - USD
40 per hour
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Inspector to join their client's esteemed team in San Jose, Ca. This role is essential in ensuring the highest quality standards for production assemblies and incoming materials.
Key Responsibilities Production Quality Inspection- Perform in-process and final inspections of production assemblies.
- Follow work instructions and customer quality requirements to ensure compliance.
- Utilize microscopes and precision inspection tools to inspect small, high-value components.
- Complete inspection documentation accurately and maintain production throughput requirements.
- Inspect incoming materials according to established inspection criteria and quality plans.
- Review certifications, documentation, and records for incoming materials.
- Verify proper handling, storage, labeling, and expiration requirements for adhesives, chemicals, and other controlled materials.
- Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related documentation are maintained and up to date.
- Review Travelers, Work Orders, and inspection records for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Scan, file, and organize inspection documentation.
- Participate in routine process and quality audits.
- Monitor ESD compliance requirements, including environmental checks.
- Adhere to and enforce quality standards, procedures, and handling requirements.
- Provide inspection status updates during daily production meetings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to identify quality risks and production constraints.
- Support training efforts to reinforce quality standards and best practices.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and documentation accuracy.
- Current IPC-A-610 Certification required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Experience following detailed work instructions and quality procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Comfortable performing microscope-based inspections of small precision components.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn quality and PLM systems (e.g., Arena).

CompensationPay range is $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
