RATE RANGE: $39-49/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Qualitative Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for moderating qualitative research sessions aimed at informing the development of eBay Marketplace’s products within the context of our rolling research program. They will also serve as a backup in the recruitment process as needed.

• Plan qualitative research studies
• Work with UX researchers to clarify their research topics for an upcoming study, write the discussion guide, facilitate sessions while ensuring the smooth execution of research sessions with buyers and sellers
• Quickly analyze data and produce summarized reports
• Ensure all legal requirements such as NDAs are fulfilled before sessions
• Serve as a backup for the research program coordinator for using internal recruiting systems to schedule and confirm participants for the research sessions

• Strong moderating skills with 2 to 4 years of experience in moderating qualitative research
• Experience with Qualtrics or similar SaaS survey tools
• Qualitative recruiting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
