Western Digital in California, San Jose, is seeking a Research Intern to advance spin-orbit torque (SOT) thin-film development for HDD read-head magnetic sensor applications. You will focus on SOT film research, test-chip fabrication, device performance, and manufacturability.
You will collaborate with researchers and engineers, perform deposition and characterization, analyze results, and contribute to scale-up efforts within WD’s CTO Office.
