Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write English and interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small groups to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to stocking and maintaining a store section, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed by management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers in loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies with appropriate tools.

Starting Rate $19.70 per hour
