Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) — Target. This role supports guest service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality and store cleanliness.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.

• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Target App features including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and direct guests to enroll or use these features.
• Handle returns following policy, consulting with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards; maintain a compliant work environment.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and returns while complying with applicable laws (e.g., beverage laws where relevant).
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions in areas such as Drive-Up or carryout.
