Job Overview
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you are at the heart of delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience. You'll support all At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and a customer‑first mindset.

DailyResponsibilities
- Every day starts with a positive example: come in energized and ready to make an impact, wearing your name badge with pride, greeting teammates warmly, and ensuring the At Your Service areas are clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top‑selling items, and stay up to date on trends and promotions to support the team and engage customers confidently.
- Lead through action—welcome customers with genuine hospitality, make eye contact, and start friendly, personal conversations that build lasting relationships.
- Assist customers in all aspects of total store fulfillment, including By Online and Pick Up in Store, be proficient in all systems needed to complete transactions, and ensure the collection area is organized so the customer pick‑up experience is friction‑free.
- Help maintain a shoppable space by recovering merchandise and keeping the pickup and return areas clean while ensuring timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders.
- Finish strong: share our Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank‑you—often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration so we can better serve our customers and communities.
- Strive daily for excellence by taking pride in your work, achieving sales goals, and learning from each other to deliver individual and store results.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Make prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and in a team.
- Handle electronic devices with no problem.

- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

Physical Requirements
This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Frequent use of computers and other technology is necessary, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
