Starting Rate: $19.70 per hour

The Part‑time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs a variety of assigned duties, including inventory management, customer service, cashiering, and store maintenance.

With more than 150 years of experience, Smart & Final offers customers fresh produce, quality meats and groceries, as well as over 3,000 club‑size items. We are a grocery warehouse store without a membership fee and are part of the Chedraui USA group. • Maintain assigned store sections and receive, stock, and price merchandise.
• Ensure proper product rotation and display of merchandise.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, issue refunds, and verify eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, including product information and loading assistance.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost or damaged goods.

• Read and write English and interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Understand and follow written instructions and product labeling.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and occasionally 60 pounds.
• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate is a plus.
