Summary

Create personalized beauty experiences for customers in the Nordstrom Beauty department by conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations. Engage customers both in-store and digitally to build loyalty and maximize sales for luxury beauty brands. Use selling tools, book appointments, and support beauty events and services while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
• Engage customers to build a following in-store and digitally using text and social media to drive sales.
• Set and achieve sales goals and support performance-based incentives.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards account enrollment.
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness to ensure a customer-ready environment.
• Participate in trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners to stay current on trends and product knowledge.

• Excellent ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology for selling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Capability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and to lift items up to 25 pounds when needed.
