Director of Business Development

Hartmann Young is working with a privately owned, high-growth nutritional supplements manufacturer operating across contract manufacturing and private label solutions, partnering with leading retailers and national brands to deliver innovative, scientifically-formulated products. With over 40 years of industry expertise, the company is known for excellence in quality, compliance, and on-trend wellness categories including probiotics, collagen, plant-based protein, whole food organics, and hydration.

You will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth across key contract manufacturing customers, while selectively identifying private label opportunities where appropriate. This role will play a central part in executing the company’s go-to-market strategy, expanding existing customer relationships, and securing new contract manufacturing partnerships. You will work closely with senior leadership to meet and exceed annual sales and profitability objectives.

• 5–10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Category Management;
• Contract manufacturing experience within healthcare, nutrition, life sciences, or supplements;
• Strong business systems and technology proficiency.

• Highly resourceful and adaptable; comfortable wearing multiple hats;
• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong execution discipline;
• Proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders;
• Excellent organization and attention to detail;
• Strong relationship-building skills and emotional intelligence;
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication;
• Solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing environments;
• Collaborative, team-oriented leadership style.
