Your Role at Pivot

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and management of all aspects of corporate accounts, from the selling process, through design, project management and the completion of project, exercising discretion and independent judgment to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for customer relations oversight on all assigned accounts, including the development of a monthly project status report per account.

In Addition, You Will be Responsible for:

  • Advanced Industry Analysis: Lead efforts to analyze and verify complex industry opportunities, leveraging advanced networking and research skills to uncover hidden business opportunities with larger, more complex Fortune 500 global companies. Identify opportunities to increase revenue inside existing accounts and new business pursuits. Build and maintain accurate CRM highlighting current and future account leads and projects.
  • Strategic Networking Leadership: Lead networking initiatives by joining boards, speaking on industry panels, and facilitating connections among industry professionals.

    Act as a thought leader within the industry by staying ahead of market trends, writing articles, and sharing insights with clients and peers. Act as Miller Knoll Workplace Insights “champion” and contribute to winning sales engagements by supporting account managers and customers with this unique knowledge.
  • Client Partnership Development: Conduct quarterly business reviews with existing clients and develop trusted advisor relationships to position the organization for future growth.
  • High-Level Strategic Planning: Cultivate relationships with key account influencers and lead strategy sessions to drive client engagement and close deals.
  • Comprehensive Project Leadership: Lead the creation of comprehensive project schedules, including alternative plans to address potential complications, and guide internal and external teams to project success.

    Lead complex contract and service agreement negotiations with customer stakeholders.
  • Complex Budget Strategy: Lead the development of in-depth pricing strategies, negotiate discounts, and collaborate with preferred vendors to meet client goals and increase profit margins.
  • Account Leadership: Lead the project team in finalizing complex project designs, ensuring alignment with client expectations, and delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Vendor Partnership Leadership: Partner with vendor representatives on industry events, provide input on pre-production releases, and develop long-term strategies for upcoming opportunities.
  • Client Experience Management: Proactively communicate with clients to ensure timely project execution, drive client vision, and align project deliverables with the appropriate solutions.
  • New Business Development: Promote and sell design, installation, project management, and other services as appropriate.
