Trauma Sales Representative

• Sell Stryker Trauma products that meet customers’ needs
• Become the resident trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals
• Organize materials and quickly sort possible solutions during operating room and emergency room consultations
• Manage and maintain product inventory meticulously
• Assist customers whenever needed
• Build credibility with surgeons through knowledge of Stryker and competitor products
• Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives
• Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
• Travel approximately 30%

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role, or a combination of the two
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
• Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of current office technologies, including MS Office suite and databases
• Experience building and maintaining relationships; relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial
• Comfortable working in emergency and operating room environments
• Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
• Must adhere to Adva Med compliance and principles of responsibility
• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality of information
• Must protect organizational assets and act with ethics and integrity
• Must report non-compliance and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements, and company policies and procedures
