Summary
The Designated Selling Associate drives sales while representing a fashion brand and delivering personalized customer service. The role builds customer relationships, shares product and style knowledge, and supports a customer-ready department.
Responsibilities- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, appointments, and customer follow-up.
- Build customer relationships and provide confident advice on style, fit, and wardrobe needs.
- Share product knowledge and brand trends with customers and peers.
- Support stocking, re-merchandising, displays, markdowns, merchandise transfers, and cleaning.
- Grow sales by opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts and review sales reporting against goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Strong fashion, product, and customer wardrobe knowledge.
- Ability to move continuously during shifts, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
