Summary
The Retail Sales Associate supports customers with fashion and styling guidance while building lasting relationships in-store and digitally. The role works toward sales goals and helps keep the department ready for customers.
Responsibilities- Meet sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
- Build customer relationships, provide service, and offer confident feedback on style and fit.
- Develop fashion and product knowledge and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
- Fill orders, stock and re-merchandise products, process markdowns, and perform light cleaning.
- Work flexible hours and, when needed, perform duties in another department.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
- Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to work well on a team, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet the physical requirements, including frequent movement and lifting items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
