Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Security Officer to work at a Tech Company located in San Jose, CA. At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site‑specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Pay Rate : $25.99 Hour

Shift :
Part Time / Overnight / Thursday - Friday /

• Valid Security Guard Card License
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
• Respond and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment).
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense‑cleared site.
  • Prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client‑specific sites.

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
