This is a full-time, on‑site Security Professional role based in San José, CA. The Security Professional will monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations. Responsibilities include controlling building access, verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor entry, and responding to alarms or emergency situations according to established procedures.

The role involves writing clear incident reports, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating promptly with supervisors, clients, and public safety personnel as needed. The Security Professional will also perform regular security checks, support implementation of security protocols, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and tenants.

• Strong Physical Security skills, including access control, patrolling, surveillance awareness, and incident response.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Information Security principles sufficient to support protection of client data and technology‑driven security solutions.
• Understanding of Network Security concepts as they relate to security systems, monitoring tools, and incident escalation.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional report writing, and the ability to de‑escalate tense situations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and follow detailed security procedures and post orders.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., security guard license, CPR/First Aid, basic security or safety training) are preferred and may be required based on local regulations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods and to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prior security, law enforcement, military, or customer‑facing experience is beneficial but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn.
