Scope of the Role
Cadence’s Global Security team helps protect our people, workplaces and operations across the Cadence global footprint. We are looking for a GSOC Senior Manager to drive the strategy, governance, and performance of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program. You will report to the Director, Global Security, AMER and work with regional security teams, Facilities, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, vendors, and other internal partners.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead the transition of the GSOC from traditional monitoring to a proactive, AI‑enabled hub of actionable intelligence.
- Define and maintain global standards, compliance, and KPIs that elevate the performance of our regional security teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between Physical Security, IT, HR, and Legal to harmonize incident response and business continuity.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize staffing, vendor performance, and technology ROI.
- Proven track record in managing 24/7 security operations, including global incident command, threat assessment, and business continuity planning.
- Direct experience integrating physical security systems (Access Control, video surveillance, Case Management) and leveraging AI/data analytics to turn raw alerts into actionable intelligence.
- Expertise in vendor management, fiscal oversight, and the implementation of KPIs that drive measurable performance improvements.
- Ability to manage and mentor diverse teams across time zones, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement.
The Essentials (Must‑Haves)
- 5+ years in a leadership role within a global SOC or high-volume corporate security environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex budgets, SLAs, and vendor performance.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects across multiple time zones.
The Advantage (Nice‑to‑Haves)
- Advanced certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, PMP, or equivalent).
- Technical fluency in systems integration (API workflows, security automation platforms).
- Experience scaling a security program during a period of organizational growth.
- Annual salary range for California: $144,200 to $267,800.
- Eligible for incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits.
