As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Route in San Jose, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. • Mon: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report observations according to site‑specific protocols.
• Support access control and visitor‑related procedures as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
