Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thu 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unattended items, and report security‑related issues according to post orders and location procedures.
• Support public‑facing operations by assisting employees, visitors, and passengers with directions, information, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 1+ years of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
