Security Guard Experienced Site Patrol

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with crowd management during busy periods, and/or help address policy violations, suspicious behavior, and customer assistance needs.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site leadership, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
