Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in San Jose, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic technology-focused location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.73 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon - 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM, Tue - 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM, Fri - 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM, Sat - 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM, Sun - 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document unusual incidents, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support site operations by communicating with on-site contacts, assisting with directional needs, and following post orders related to security-related responsibilities.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
