As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Rotation in San Jose, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security‑related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
