What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity across the property, and document security-related incidents, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support emergency response activities, assist with directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic during disruptions, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible patrol presence and consistent reporting.
Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
