Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Patrol

Pay Rate: $23.81 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with supervisors and/or public agency contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, office spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support law enforcement and/or first responders during medical, fire, transit-related, and other emergency events while following Allied Universal protocols and client-directed procedures.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
