As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role Patrol in San Jose, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic public‑facing environment.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting supervisors, first responders, and/or designated personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit locations, public access areas, parking areas, platforms, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders for government‑related operations.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
