Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.83 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and peripheral locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, transit areas, and public-facing spaces for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unattended items, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with the public.
• Support routine operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and following post orders related to alarms, disturbances, and other security-related matters.

• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
