- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or electronic systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate routine and critical incident communications between on-site personnel, building contacts, and/or first responders while maintaining accurate logs and status updates.
- Support access-related and security-related operations by processing reports, tracking incidents, and communicating post instructions for a fast-paced technology location.
- Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter by assigning calls, monitoring officer activity, and reporting unusual conditions according to site procedures.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
